Concerns have been noted about the orange dots on some of the trees on the Recreation Ground. The Parish Council, as owners and responsible for the trees, have an annual tree inspection done every Autumn, which checks the health and safety of the trees and advises the Council what works needs doing, such as crown lifting or deadwood removal. This year’s tree inspection has highlighted that some of the mature trees need more extensive checks due to fungal growths. These are currently being carried out, hence the coloured marks.
No works have yet been advised or are planned. All residents will be kept up to date with what works are needed and when they are due to be done, via the Council website and Council Facebook page.
